Service Training: Professional CNC Machine Maintenance Training
Practical knowledge creates free space for maintenance managers and security for companies. In the case of both older DMG MORI machines or new systems – wear and tear of components or a collision may make it necessary for maintenance and service personnel to work directly on troubleshooting. Don’t forget: Operators of a CNC machine must immediately resolve any issues that may pose a safety risk.
Managers can create optimal conditions for this through further training. In addition, companies save costs because they no longer need to hire a service technician for troubleshooting.
Course programme
What the Academy offers
Our service training courses for the maintenance and servicing of DMG MORI machines primarily cover mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
What requirements do I have to fulfill to participate in the training? The training focuses on maintenance or the detection and elimination of mechanical errors, seminars are open to DMG MORI customers who have completed vocational training in metalworking. Participants are provided with specific instructions on topics such as machine design, function, control, geometry and clamping devices. Content on hydraulics, lubrication, turrets and slide guides is also taught.
Basic electrical engineering training is a prerequisite for our electronics training. The electrical system of a CNC machine goes far beyond the switch-on routine and the three-colour signal lights. An important part of our service training is therefore identifying and eliminating electrical errors using diagnostic tools. Among other things the course teaches the basics of system and menu overviews. The course focuses on selected methods of data backup and hardware replacement, but also covers subjects such as encoders and drives.
